As a former Portuguese colony, the state of CABINDA has no common frontier with Angola. It was declared as the 39th African State to decolonize by the Organization of the African Unity. In 1975, the Angolan armies, helped by Cuba and the ex-Soviet Union, invaded CABINDA, ransacking and pillaging it with a general lack of interest in public opinion.

That man killed and keeps on killing some Cabindese. From 1975 to 1998, 250.000 Cabindese were deported and butchered in Angolain in concentration camps. 100.000 children were used as canon fodder in the Angolan internal war (MPLA/UNITA). In CABINDA now occupied by Angola, some women were raped, some men were killed, some villages were destroyed by fire, the resources of the country were plundered. |
